The Embodied Midlife Transition
A 4-week Online
Group Coaching Journey
for Women in
Perimenopause
10 May – 10 June 2026
Move through midlife change with more steadiness, body trust, and nervous system support.
This course is for women who feel overwhelmed, emotionally raw, tired, unlike themselves, or unsure how to support their changing body in this season.
4 live group calls | 60–90 minutes each
weekly videos, articles, and
integration prompts
If you feel unlike yourself lately,
you are not alone.
This transition touches more than your hormones.
Perimenopause and menopause are not only hormonal transitions. For many women, they also affect mood, sleep, energy, stress tolerance, focus, sensory sensitivity, and the relationship to their own body.
If you have been feeling more reactive, more exhausted, more anxious, less resilient, or simply not like yourself, you are not imagining it. This phase can be deeply disorienting, especially when the strategies that once worked no longer do.
You might notice that you cry more easily, snap faster, or feel overstimulated by things that never used to bother you. You may be sleeping differently, needing more recovery time, or questioning who you are in the middle of all of this.

What this course is
This is a somatic and nervous-system-informed group coaching course for women who want a gentler, deeper, more embodied way of navigating perimenopause and menopause. Instead of pushing through, overriding symptoms, or treating yourself like a problem to solve, you will learn how to understand your body, regulate overwhelm, and meet this transition with more compassion and clarity.
Across four weeks,
we combine:
-
Live group coaching calls - weekly live support and space for real-time questions
-
Guided somatic practices - simple body-based exercises for regulation and awareness
-
Peer co-sensing - shared reflection in a gentle, human group space
-
Two video teachings each week
-
One to two written articles each week
-
A weekly quiz for integration and reflection
This may support you if
-
You are in perimenopause or menopause and feel emotionally more tender, reactive, or overwhelmed than before
-
Your sleep, energy, or stress resilience has changed
-
You want body-based support, not just more information
-
You are curious about nervous system work, embodiment, and self-trust
-
You sense this transition is asking something new of you, but you do not yet know how to listen
If you recognize yourself in these, this course can offer you a deeper and more held way of being with this transition.
Week 1 - Understanding the transition
We begin by making sense of what is happening in the body, emotions, and nervous system. This week is about orientation, normalization, and building a foundation of safety and self-understanding.
Week 2 - Regulating overwhelm
We explore the stress–symptom loop and learn simple somatic tools for activation, restlessness, anxiety, and shutdown. You begin building a personal regulation toolkit that you can lean on through this phase.
Week 3 - Energy, boundaries, and changing capacity
We look at pacing, needs, rest, and the patterns that may no longer be sustainable. This week helps you relate to your limits with more honesty and less shame, and to make choices that respect your current capacity.
Week 4 - Identity, self-trust, and becoming
This final week supports integration. We explore midlife not only as disruption, but also as threshold. A place where deeper truth, boundaries, and self-respect can emerge and take up more space.

What makes this different
Many perimenopause spaces focus only on symptoms, information, or solutions.
This course includes education, but the heart of it is different:
-
It helps you feel your way into a more supportive relationship with your body, not just think about it
-
The work is gentle, practical, and trauma-aware
-
It is not about fixing you, performing healing, or forcing catharsis
-
It is about learning to meet yourself differently, at a pace your system can integrate

About your Coach
Brita is an Embodiment-Coach and movement therapist whose work sits at the intersection of nervous system education, embodiment, and trauma-informed support.
She has spent years working with people who feel disconnected from their bodies. Whether through chronic stress, life transitions, or simply the accumulated weight of not being taught how to listen inward. Her approach is quiet and unhurried. She does not believe in pushing people toward breakthrough. She believes in creating enough safety that something can shift on its own.
Brita brings together somatic movement, nervous system education, and coaching in spaces that feel clear, human, and free of performance pressure. Her groups tend to attract women who are thoughtful, a little tired of generic wellness advice, and ready for something that actually meets them where they are.
This course grew from her own curiosity about midlife. About what it means when the body starts asking different things of us, and what becomes possible when we learn to listen rather than override.
You do not need to have it all figured out before joining
Midlife transitions ask a lot of us. They ask us to slow down when we have been trained to speed up, to listen when we have been taught to push through, and to trust a body that may feel unfamiliar right now.
This course will not fix that. But it can offer you a steadier place to stand while you find your own way through. With support, with community, and with practices that actually work with your nervous system rather than against it.
If something in you recognised itself while reading this, that is worth paying attention to.
