Part 1: About Sacred Embodiment
Sacred Embodiment is a guiding space for those seeking to navigate their inner world with courage and integrity. Founded by Brita Corzilius and based out of India, our courses and classes help individuals understand their emotional landscape, break free from autopilot patterns, and align with their higher selves - like cartographers of the soul.
"Align within, evolve beyond”, our slogan, reminds us that true transformation begins inside - when we make peace with our past, embrace our needs, and move forward with clarity. Through self-exploration, movement, and community, Sacred Embodiment empowers individuals to step into a life of ease, fulfilment, and purpose.
In a world full of noise, we provide a starting point, a steady guide, and a space to truly be heard.
NESC, or NeuroEmbodied Soul Centering Coaching (NESC), is a somatic approach that rewires the nervous system toward connection, regulation, and soul-aligned living. Sacred Embodiment uses NESC to unveil how emotions, memories, and beliefs are stored in the body, offering pathways toward embodied healing, resilience, and inner leadership. NESC honors the body's wisdom and supports individuals in anchoring into their deepest truth.
NESC (NeuroEmbodied Soul Centering Coaching®) rests on four foundational pillars that guide each session:
-
Feeling: Cultivating deep, embodied awareness of sensations, emotions, and inner states, without bypassing or intellectualizing them.
-
Allowing: Creating space for all that arises to be witnessed and honored, without judgment or suppression.
-
Integrating: Weaving insights, sensations, and shifts into the nervous system and everyday life, so that transformation is sustainable and embodied — not just conceptual.
-
Nurturing: Offering ongoing self-care, compassion, and gentle resourcing to the parts of ourselves that surface during the process, ensuring that growth happens with tenderness and safety.
These pillars work together to restore nervous system regulation, deepen inner connection, and anchor participants into their authentic soul-centered way of being.
-
Sensual Embodiment within Sacred Embodiment refers to the practice of fully inhabiting the senses: Feeling, touching, listening, seeing, and moving without external performance. It restores the primal relationship between the body and the world, inviting participants to experience life through direct, intimate presence with sensation.
‘Navigate Your Inner Landscape’ is a guided exploration series that builds inner literacy:
-
Recognizing the body's cues
-
Differentiating trauma responses from authentic needs
-
Learning to move, rest, and act from an integrated, regulated place
Each session supports participants in navigating their internal worlds with tenderness, clarity, and sovereignty.
-
All bodies, experiences, and stories are welcome.
No prior embodiment experience is needed. Curiosity, self-compassion, and a willingness to meet oneself gently are the only invitations.Sacred Embodiment sessions are often self-led, meaning that while the space is held and resourced by Sacred Embodiment, the exploration itself unfolds through each participant’s own inner guidance.
This means that participants are invited to listen deeply to their own bodies, choose their own pace, and follow what feels most authentic and nourishing in each moment — rather than being directed step-by-step from the outside.
The role of Sacred Embodiment is to offer a supportive framework, not to impose a fixed path.
This cultivates agency, sovereignty, and profound trust in one’s own body-wisdom.
Part 2: About the Courses
Movement Therapy in Sacred Embodiment is a biomechanical method grounded in the principles of yoga asana. It restores structural knowledge to the individual, helping bodies remember how to move in alignment with their natural architecture. The emphasis is on injury prevention, precise awareness, and fostering sustainable, healthy movement patterns through an understanding of form and function.
A Movement Lab is an explorative, interactive space where participants investigate movement with curiosity and self-agency — much like a laboratory, rather than a one-size-fits-all class.
In each lab:
-
We begin by exploring key biomechanical principles, understanding how the body is designed to move in sustainable and supportive ways.
-
Participants are then invited to try these concepts out for themselves, experimenting and noticing how their own bodies respond.
-
The facilitator is present to offer guidance, feedback, and support — but there is no rigid sequence or fixed choreography.
-
Every body is honored as unique. Participants are encouraged to adapt, question, and discover what truly works for them.
The Movement Lab bridges intellectual understanding with embodied experience, so participants gain both clarity and confidence in how they move — all within a compassionate, non-judgmental space.
“No prior experience is required — just curiosity and a willingness to explore”?
-
Stretching is not the primary aim within Sacred Embodiment. In our philosophy, we recognize that what is often labelled as “stiffness” is, in truth, accumulated tension - protective holding patterns shaped by fear or stress. Our approach centres on softening and reassuring the body that it is safe to release these layers. Through patience and consistent tenderness, the body gradually opens and surrenders, not through force, but through organic trust and permission.
Sacred Embodiment honours the vast, sacred tradition of Yoga and its profound philosophical roots. While certain tools (such as asanas and breath practices) are respectfully integrated, Sacred Embodiment does not claim to facilitate Yoga in its full, traditional sense. This distinction preserves the integrity of Yoga while acknowledging that Sacred Embodiment practises a separate, somatic path.
Sacred Embodiment is neither therapy nor fitness. It is a somatic, experiential practice that complements healing and growth by restoring connection with the body’s innate wisdom. It does not replace medical or psychological care but can powerfully accompany individuals on their personal and healing journeys.
Each workshop flows through a gentle arc:
-
A grounding arrival
-
A somatic exploration through movement or sensory focus
-
Space for reflection or integration
-
A closing ritual or sharing circle to support re-entry into daily life
While the structure offers support, freedom and personal pacing are always prioritized.
Workshops typically last 1.5 to 3 hours, allowing spacious time for deep embodiment without rush. Participants are encouraged to prepare by:
-
Wearing comfortable clothing for ease of movement (online/offline)
-
Creating a quiet, undisturbed space (online)
-
Having water, a notebook, and any comforting props (blankets, cushions) nearby (online offline)
-
Arriving a few minutes early to settle and ground (online/offline)
This preparation supports a smooth, nourishing experience and allows participants to enter fully into the depth of the practice.
-
In Sacred Embodiment, your autonomy and self-led exploration are deeply respected.
The facilitator does not interfere or interrupt your individual process unless you explicitly ask for support or clearly signal that you would like accompaniment. Your inner journey is honoured as sovereign and self-paced — you are trusted to know what feels right for you in each moment.
Facilitators remain present, attuned, and available throughout the session. If you need assistance, guidance, or reassurance at any point, you are warmly encouraged to:
-
Ask verbally
-
Use a pre-agreed hand signal or gesture or card given to you
-
Make eye contact to indicate you would like support
Otherwise, you are given spaciousness to stay immersed in your own experience without external interruption.
The Workshops offer subtle verbal cues to anchor you in your body and presence. During explorative phases, no directed choreography or prescribed movements are given. This encourages everyone to meet their authentic movement impulses, dissolve external conditioning, and reclaim embodied freedom. This approach supports self-trust, empowerment, and deeper listening to your own body’s intelligence — with the comfort of knowing that gentle, compassionate guidance is available if and when you desire it.
“You are always welcome to communicate with the facilitator if you feel uncertain, tender, or curious about your experience.”
-
Sacred Embodiment holds space for the full range of human experience.
Emotional responses, discomfort, or uncertainty are honored as natural parts of deep somatic exploration.
All feelings are welcome.Participants are supported to move at their own rhythm, access resources when needed, and stay rooted in self-trust throughout the process.
Each session also offers a handout at the end to support reflection and integration after the live experience. The work in these sessions is not about immediate resolution, but about opening a gentle, integrative starting point — so insights and embodied shifts can continue to unfold with care in daily life.
At Sacred Embodiment, your privacy, safety, and presence in the moment are our highest priorities.
We have a clear and respectful policy: No session, workshop, or group space will ever be filmed or photographed in a way that includes participants without the explicit, informed consent of every person involved. If there is ever an intention to capture content (for teaching, sharing, or promotional purposes), this will be clearly communicated in advance, and only those who freely choose to give written permission will be included.
It is possible that the instructor may be filmed (for example, demonstrating a practice or speaking to the camera). However, participants will not appear in any recordings or images without clear, enthusiastic consent. If filming occurs, participants can always choose to step aside or opt out, and that choice is fully respected.
That said, we actively discourage filming or recording during practices. In a world where content and visuals are constantly being produced and shared, Sacred Embodiment aims to be a sanctuary of calm, depth, and genuine presence — not a space centred on visual output or performance.
We encourage participants to fully immerse themselves in their inner experience without the distraction or self-consciousness that cameras can create.
Anything that is eventually shared publicly has been created with 100% clear and enthusiastic consent from all involved. This is a space where what happens can stay sacred and private, allowing you to relax and engage deeply, knowing your process is respected.
Sacred Embodiment offers a supported space. While absolute emotional safety cannot be guaranteed — especially in deep embodiment work where vulnerable or unfamiliar sensations can arise — participants are continuously supported and resourced throughout the process.
Being resourced means that participants are gently guided to stay connected to their own inner anchors of stability, comfort, and regulation, even when discomfort or vulnerability emerges. This can include:
• Accessing grounding practices (like breath awareness, orienting to the room, or using supportive touch)
• Remembering inner or outer resources (like a soothing image, a comforting sensation, or a supportive hand gesture)
• Taking pauses or breaks when needed to settle
• Having access to clear guidance, reassurance, and accompaniment from the facilitator
The focus is not on avoiding difficult emotions, but on helping each participant stay connected to their body and inner guidance, so they can move through experiences with as much self-trust and stability as possible.
In short: A supported space honours the full range of human experience while equipping you with tools to navigate it gently, without becoming overwhelmed or lost.
Sacred Embodiment honors that each session unfolds uniquely, in alignment with the body’s natural pace and readiness.
While some sessions may bring clear insights, emotional releases, or tangible shifts, others may feel quieter, subtler, or more reflective. Not every session is designed to be a dramatic breakthrough — and lasting transformation often happens gently, in layers, over time.
Each session contributes to the ongoing integration and nervous system regulation that allows deeper shifts to emerge sustainably.Even when immediate change isn’t obvious, the body and subconscious are engaging in meaningful work beneath the surface.
Trusting the process, honoring the small moments, and allowing spaciousness are all part of this path.Whether joining a group workshop or a 1:1 session, thoughtful preparation can deepen your experience and help you feel more resourced.
Here are gentle ways to care for yourself before we begin:• Choose a quiet, undisturbed space where you feel safe and comfortable.
• Wear soft, unrestrictive clothing that allows ease of movement and breath.
• Gather supportive items like water, a notebook, a blanket, cushions, or anything that brings you comfort.
• Avoid heavy meals or stimulating substances (like caffeine or alcohol) 1–2 hours before, to support sensitivity and clarity.
• Soften your environment — dim lights, light a candle, or create an altar if it helps you feel grounded.
• Arrive a few minutes early to settle your breath and land in your body before we begin.
• Bring an open, curious mindset, knowing that whatever arises is welcome and valid.
These small acts of care signal to your nervous system that it is safe to soften, explore, and receive.
It’s completely natural for deep somatic or emotional work to sometimes bring up feelings of overwhelm, tenderness, or discomfort.
Sacred Embodiment honors that each person’s nervous system has its own pace and capacity — and your safety and agency always come first. If overwhelm arises, you will be gently supported to return to regulation and steadiness. You are always welcome to pause, slow down, or step away as needed.
We also offer trauma-informed self-care tools to help ground and soothe you in the moment. A few simple practices you can use anytime are:
-
Orienting — Gently look around the space and name 5 things you see, 4 things you hear, or 3 things you feel. This anchors you in the present moment.
-
Grounding touch — Place one hand on your heart or belly and feel the warmth and weight of your hand. This can provide comfort and containment.
-
Feeling your feet — Press your feet into the floor and notice the support beneath you. Wiggle your toes or shift your weight to come back into your body.
-
Taking a resource break — Step away from the practice to drink water, stretch, or simply rest until you feel steady again.
Remember: You are always in choice. Nothing is mandatory, and honoring your own limits is deeply respected here.
“Your body’s wisdom is always trusted here”?
-
Sequencing is a trauma-informed self-care tool used to release excess tension or nervous system activation in a safe and controlled way.
When we experience stress, intense emotions, or overwhelm, our body can sometimes hold on to that energy — creating a sense of inner pressure, restlessness, or agitation. Sequencing offers the body a clear, physical pathway to discharge that built-up activation and return to a steadier, calmer state.
In Sacred Embodiment, sequencing often involves:
-
Pressing your hands or feet firmly against a wall or stable surface
-
Applying steady, intentional pressure for a few breaths
-
Then slowly releasing the pressure to allow the body to settle and reset
This technique can be especially helpful:
-
After a wave of strong emotion or activation (such as fear, anger, or sadness)
-
When the nervous system feels overstimulated or flooded
-
If you feel disconnected, agitated, or ungrounded
-
To complete a stress response and bring a sense of containment and safety
Sequencing helps the body "complete" what it couldn’t finish at the time of stress — offering both containment and release in an embodied, gentle way.
You are always welcome to use this tool during sessions whenever it feels supportive. Your body’s signals guide the process.

At Sacred Embodiment, biweekly sessions are intentionally chosen to allow ample time for integration, reflection, and embodied change between meetings. Here’s why this rhythm works best:
-
Integration time: The deep work we explore in sessions often requires time to fully integrate into the body and life. With biweekly sessions, you have two weeks to process, embody, and apply the insights and practices we explore together, which helps prevent overwhelm and supports sustainable change.
-
Nurturing space: The pace of biweekly sessions allows for nurturing and deepening the work we’ve done. You have time to practice self-compassion, reflect on your progress, and care for yourself as new insights begin to unfold.
-
Space for real transformation: True transformation takes time. By spacing sessions out, you create the necessary space for your body and mind to adjust, adapt, and deeply embody the shifts that are taking place.
-
Avoiding burnout: Weekly sessions can sometimes lead to overwhelm or burnout, especially when working with deep, somatic material. Biweekly sessions offer a gentler pace that honours your need for rest, self-reflection, and personal time to work through emotions, tension, or new discoveries.
-
Customization and pacing: Biweekly sessions also allow the coaching process to unfold naturally, giving you time to reflect on progress and adjust your focus as needed. It gives you the freedom to move at your own pace without feeling rushed.
This approach honours the depth and sustainability of your journey, providing the space and time you need to move through your process with ease and consistency.

Sessions purchased as part of a 3–6 month package are generally valid for the duration of the package, meaning that they must be used within the time frame specified at the time of purchase. Here’s the breakdown:
• 3-month package: Sessions are valid for 3 months from the start date of your first session.
• 6-month package: Sessions are valid for 6 months from the start date of your first session.
This structure ensures that you have the time to fully engage with the process and allows for consistent growth over the course of the package.
Sessions can be scheduled in advance to ensure consistency, but unused sessions may not carry over beyond the package period. If you feel you need more time, we offer the flexibility to discuss extensions or additional sessions to best support your process.
Please reach out if you have any questions about timing or scheduling. We will be happy to clarify.
At Sacred Embodiment, we believe that true transformation and deep embodiment work often require time, consistency, and ongoing support. While a single session can provide insight, the depth and lasting change we aim for in 1:1 coaching is best achieved through a longer-term commitment.
By offering 3–6 month packages, we ensure that:
• You have the space to build a supportive relationship with your coach and the process
• There is a progressive and integrative journey that allows you to make deeper, lasting shifts
• You are given accountability, continuity, and gradual embodiment of the tools and practices we explore together
• Your process can unfold at a pace that respects your unique needs, challenges, and growth
A longer-term commitment helps avoid the pitfalls of superficial work that may not have time to fully root in your body and life.
We trust that this approach offers deeper value and more meaningful results, which aligns with our philosophy of gentle, sustainable change and holistic support.
Part 3: How to participate
Preparing with intention helps you arrive feeling grounded, open, and ready to engage deeply. Here’s how Sacred Embodiment recommends you prepare:
• Arrive with curiosity and self-kindness.
You don’t need any special skills or prior experience — simply come as you are, with a willingness to meet yourself gently.• Wear comfortable clothing.
Choose clothes that allow you to move freely and feel at ease, such as soft, stretchy or loose-fitting layers.• Bring water and any personal supports.
Hydration is important. You may also wish to bring a journal, a favourite shawl, cushion, or small grounding object that offers comfort.• Arrive a few minutes early.
This allows you to settle in, orient to the space, and start without rush.• Minimise distractions.
For online sessions, set up in a quiet, private space where you can be uninterrupted. Silence your phone and inform others that you’ll be in session.• Nourish your body.
Eat a light meal beforehand so your body is supported but not too full. Most importantly: There is no “perfect” way to show up. Your presence — as you are — is enough.
These simple preparations help create a nourishing foundation so you can relax into the experience and receive its benefits fully.
• Arrival time:
Please aim to arrive 10–15 minutes before the session starts. This gives you time to settle in, relax, and prepare without feeling rushed.• What to wear:
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely, such as stretchy or loose-fitting clothes. Layers are great, so you can adjust your comfort level throughout the session.• What to bring:
• Water to stay hydrated
• A journal or pen for any reflections you may want to make
• A blanket, cushion, or mat if you prefer extra support for sitting or lying down (for in-person sessions)
• A grounding or calming item like a favorite shawl, stone, or object (optional, but it can be helpful for grounding during deeper work)
These small preparations help you arrive with a sense of ease and openness, ready to dive into the session fully.
Sacred Embodiment aims to make the payment process clear, accessible, and supportive. Here’s how it works:
• Advance payment is required to secure your spot. We recommend completing payment at least 24–48 hours before the session to confirm your place, as spaces may be limited.
• Payment methods: Options usually include bank transfer, UPI, Payment links, or cash (for in-person sessions). Payment details will be shared upon registration.
• Sliding scale or concession options: For some offerings, a sliding scale or limited number of concession spots may be available to make the work accessible to different financial situations. Please feel free to reach out and inquire — we are happy to discuss available options in a confidential and compassionate way.
• Receipts: A receipt can be provided upon request for your records.
• Cancellations and refunds: Clear policies around cancellations and refunds will be communicated at the time of booking.
Our intention is to make this process smooth, so you can focus on your inner journey without bringing financial discussion to the workshop or create financial confusion or stress.
At Sacred Embodiment, we understand that life happens and sometimes plans change. To respect both your time and ours, we have a clear and fair cancellation policy:
• Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the session will receive a full refund or can be rescheduled to a later date (your choice).
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session are non-refundable, as your space has been held and cannot easily be filled at short notice. However, depending on circumstances, we may offer a partial credit toward a future session — please reach out and communicate.
• No-shows (without notice) will not be refunded or credited.
We always invite open communication. If an emergency or unforeseen event arises, please contact us as soon as possible — we aim to respond with compassion and understanding wherever possible.
These guidelines help ensure mutual respect, clear boundaries, and sustainability for all involved.
Requiring upfront payment for 1:1 coaching packages helps Sacred Embodiment ensure a deep, committed, and focused experience for both you and the coach. Here’s why:
• Commitment to the process: Paying upfront reinforces your commitment to the entire coaching journey, ensuring you’re fully invested in your own growth and transformation over the course of the package.
• Mutual respect and planning: It allows both you and the coach to fully plan, reserve time, and prepare for your sessions, creating a sense of structure and consistency for your ongoing work together.
• Dedicated space: It helps Sacred Embodiment manage the time, energy, and resources necessary to provide the high-quality support you deserve, while also ensuring that the coach can offer dedicated focus to you without distractions.
• Pricing consistency: By paying upfront, you’re locking in a set price for your package, avoiding potential price fluctuations that may occur during the course of the coaching relationship.
This system is designed to create a clear, intentional, and supported space for the work to unfold, allowing you to fully immerse in the process without financial distractions.
Should you need any flexibility around payment plans, please reach out — we are happy to discuss options to ensure that financial barriers do not prevent you from accessing support.
